Tutorial for Large 11x11 Scrapbook Not-So-Mini Album

In my tutorial, I show you how to create my large 11x11 (not-so-mini) scrapbook album design as shown in the photo on the left. The album is made of 7 two-sided pages for a total of 14 pages not including the front and back inside covers. Each page measures 10"x10". There are 7 extra-large tags in the page pockets and a waterfall on the last page. There's lots of room for large photos in this album.

This style is perfect for a heirloom album!

The tutorial is in PDF format and contains 74 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions from start to finish with 257 photos I took as I was creating the album. I show how to create each of the pages, how make the covers and spine, how to bind the pages into the album, how to make the chain closure and how I embellished the album. Measurements are included for each piece you will need to construct the album.

In addition to the written tutorial, I'm including free links to my series of unlisted ONLINE VIDEOS that show how to make the album as I create a brand new one from start to finish.

The finished album is beautiful and not difficult to construct. With assistance from the videos, you should be able to complete a beautiful project even if you're not very experienced at making mini albums.

The album pictured at the top is the album I constructed as I was writing the tutorial. It is made with the "Family Bound" paper stack by DCWV (Die Cuts With a View) and other paper from my stash. In the videos, I make the same album using other papers and embellishments (photo below).

You can refer to the videos anytime as I plan to leave them online for as long as the service provider can host them. Below are videos that shows my completed albums, as well as additional photos further below.

(If you have difficulty viewing the videos, clicking on the links will take you to my YouTube channel where can view them.)
