In my tutorial, I show you how to create my "Double Paper Bag Scrapbook" not-so-mini album. This album is made with 12 paper bags and has lots of room for your precious memories. There are many flaps and pull-out tags. I used the beautiful paper collection by Tim Coffey (K & Company) called Country Garden, but you can use any paper to customize your album.
The double format of this album makes it versatile - if you want to use this album to record your family's genealogy you could use the top stack for Mom's side of the family and the bottom stack for Dad's relatives. It can be used to record events throughout the year, and also makes an awesome holder for recipe clippings!
The album measures 12" high by 9-1/2" wide, and is 3" thick. It has a wrap-around cover covered in fabric and a buckle closure.
The tutorial is in PDF format and contains 65 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions from start to finish with 260 photos I took as I was creating the album. I show how to create each of the pages, how make the wrap-around covers, how to bind the pages into the album, how to make the buckle closure and how I embellished the album. Measurements are included for each piece you will need to construct the album including the binding, covers and spine.
In addition to the written tutorial, I'm including free links to my series of unlisted ONLINE VIDEOS that show how to make the album as I create a brand new one from start to finish.
You can refer to the videos anytime as I plan to leave them online for as long as the service provider can host them. Below are videos that show my completed albums, and a few additional photos.
(If you have difficulty viewing the videos, clicking on the links will take you to my YouTube channel where you can view them.)

There are three large tags in the front pocket.
There are two large tags in each of the two main sections of the album so you can write a title or describe the contents of each.
The pages on the left have a flap that folds up with a built-in pocket and tag.
The pages on the right have a flap that opens to the right to reveal more tags. Each paper bag has an extra large tag in the opening on the right.
