Using paper tole in your scrapbook layouts

I remember when I first started doing paper tole years ago. Paper tole is when you cut and layer parts  of an image over a background to create a three dimensional look. Designs start to "pop out" as each new layer is added. Paper tole is such a fun and relaxing craft and lends itself so well to scrapbooking page layouts.

I want to get back into paper tole and designed some very easy, yet beautiful, scrapbook borders and tags that would look awesome in baby scrapbooks. I now have 2 sets available in my store if you'd like to take a gander, and I'm hoping to add some more soon.

Please stop by my store and check it out...

Bath Time - Baby Girl 3D Paper Tole Set

Bath time - Baby Girl ($1.99 US)
Skill level - Very Easy

(I also have this set in a baby boy theme - go to *Shop 3D PAPER TOLE

With this set of digital templates and instructions, you can make an adorable 3D title border and tags for your baby girl-themed scrapbook layouts using the paper tole technique.

The title border features adorable bears at bath time. Paper tole makes parts of the bears and some of their accessories "pop out".  The colorful templates include images for the title and 6 different tags.

On the first photo, I layered my finished title and tags over cardstock, then embellished with flowers, ribbon and punched borders. Add whatever embellishments you have on hand to customize your work. Below are 4 more tags I constructed with the templates and cardstock.

Cutting lines appear directly on the printable templates and the step-by-step instructions tell you where and what to cut so it's easy to do the paper tole technique.

You can view a demo of how to use the templates and instructions at http://www.scrappinrabbit.com/p/3d-paper-tole.html.

This set is a digital download. After purchasing, you will have access to a zipped file containing two separate PDF documents: the instructions and the image templates.
