TUTORIAL - Crisscross Scrapbook Album

In this tutorial, I show you how to create my "Crisscross" scrapbook mini album. The album cover measures 9-1/4”w by 6-3/4”h with a 3” spine. There are 6 two-sided base pages each measuring 8”w x 6”h. The album contains many tags, pockets and flaps and there's lots of space for photos without cropping. There is also a waterfall and a folio that can hold 4"x6" photos.
The paper stack I used in this album is titled  “Que Sera Sera” by K&Company. In the videos that accompany the written tutorial, the Christmas album used as a demo is made with My Mind's Eye "Vintage Christmas" stack.

The tutorial is in PDF format and contains 70 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions with over 300 photos that show how I created the album from start to finish. You will learn how to create each of the pages, how make the wrap-around covers, how to bind the pages into the album, how to make the buckle closure and how I embellished the album. Measurements are included for each piece you will need to construct the album including the binding, covers and spine.

In addition to the
written tutorial, I'm including free links to my series of unlisted ONLINE VIDEOS that show how to make the album as I create a brand new one from start to finish.

One of the videos shows how to tweak the album to make it in a vertical format like the one below:

You can refer to the videos anytime as I plan to leave them online for as long as the service provider can host them. Below are videos that show my completed albums, and a few additional photos.

(If you have difficulty viewing the videos, clicking on the links will take you to my YouTube channel where you can view them.)
