A Tag for All Seasons

28 tags... 14 styles... 25 occasions

A Tag for All Seasons
E-book (Instant PDF Download)

In my new e-book, I show you how I made tags for practically every occasion of the year. There are fourteen different styles of tags and thirteen of the styles are interactive meaning some have flaps, some have pockets with smaller tags in them, some have "pages" and magnet closures, some have photo mats that slide out, and some stand up on their own easel. You can use these tags as embellishments in your scrapbooks, add them to gifts, or use them as greeting cards.

There is a “chapter” for each style of tag with step‐by‐step instructions that appear in the same order as the photos. All of the measurements are included. At the beginning of each chapter, there is a photo of the completed tag and the list of materials I used to make it (embellishments, punches etc.). You likely won’t have the same papers and embellishments, so use what you already have on hand to customize your tags. I made two tags in each style for different occasions so you can see how they look with different papers and embellishments. This is a great opportunity to go through some of those leftover scraps of paper and other tidbits in your stash.

I made my tags in the following themes: family, baby girl, baby boy, Christening, Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthday, Easter, summer, 4th of July, autumn, Halloween, winter, Christmas, New Year, love, Valentine's Day, wedding, 50th wedding anniversary, school, graduation, friends, inspiration, travel and all-occasion.

My tag styles include:

Simple layered tag
Tag with a pocket
Crisscross Easel Tag
Tag with magnetic insert
Accordion tag with strap closure

Below are just a few photos of some of the tag styles you will learn to make using your own embellishments. The video further below shows each of the tags.

The e-book is in PDF format and contains 70 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions with lots of photos that show how I create each tag from start to finish including what embellishments I used and where I placed them on the tag. Measurements are included for each piece that needs to be cut.

Please note I use imperial measurements (inches). Unlike my mini album tutorials, there are no videos accompanying this e-book.

How I converted my Extended Platform into a Magnetic Platform (Sizzix Big Shot or Big Kick)

In the video below, I show you how I converted my Big Shot Extended Platform to a magnetic platform for just $1. (Be careful when trying this for the first time - I am not responsible for damage caused by anyone to their machine or dies - I'm just showing you a tip that works for me.)
