Tutorial - Scrapbook Recipe Album

Also available with METRIC MEASUREMENTS! (Details below...)

In this tutorial, I show you how to create my scrapbook recipe album. This extra large album is made to be used! There is room for 96 recipe cards in the 6"x4" plastic sleeves alone, and room for way more in the pockets. You can also store recipe clippings in the extra large pockets.

I made it using the CraftSmith "TEA PARTY" stack and images from Graphic 45's "HOME SWEET HOME" stack. Use whatever paper you like to customize your album.

The album contains 4 waterfalls and 4 fold-out folios constructed with plastic photo sleeves.  There is a total of 12 pages not including the inside covers (6 two-sided base pages). Each base page forms its own divider and has a tab so you can write the recipe category. They each have an extra large recipe index card in the pocket so you can write the names of the recipes stored in that section.

The downloadable index cards, recipe cards and "Kitchen Helps" are included with the tutorial so you can print as many as you want.

The pages are stored in a 3" D-ring binder. In the tutorial I show you how to take apart the binder and recover it with your own scrapbook paper.

The tutorial is in PDF format and contains 53 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions with about 260 photos that show how I created the album from start to finish. You will learn how to create each of the interactive pages and how to take apart a vinyl binder and re-cover it with scrapbook paper. Measurements are included for each piece you will need to construct the album.

In addition to the written tutorial, I'm including free links to my series of unlisted ONLINE VIDEOS that show how to make the album as I create a brand new one from start to finish. I plan on making these videos available to everyone who purchases my tutorial for as long as the service provide can continue hosting them for free.

Below are videos of two recipe albums I made based on this tutorial. (If you have difficulties viewing the videos, click the links just below.)

Below are photos of a few of the pages in the album.

You can also turn the album into a memory book! Insert photos into the sleeves and use the divider tabs as titles for different occasions, such as the child's album as shown below...

For those of you who work with the metric system, I'm pleased to offer written tutorial with metric measurements. I converted each measurement from imperial (inches) to metric (cms) and rounded to 1 decimal space (i.e. 20.3cm). The videos use imperial measurements, but the techniques are the same.

Simply purchase the tutorial (you will receive the "Imperial" document) then email me at scrappinrabbit@gmail.com to request the metric version. I will send it to you by email.

To purchase: Please visit my Etsy shop to purchase the tutorial (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/TheScrappinRabbit). Don't have an Etsy account? No problem. Simply email me at scrappinrabbit@gmail.com and I will send you a Paypal invoice and upon payment, will send you the tutorial by email within 24 hours.
