In this tutorial, I show you how to create my clock & scrapbook mini album set. This makes a beautiful "timely" gift that's sure to be treasured. The clock is made of chipboard and the album is made of cardstock with chipboard covers. There is plenty of room for photos in the 12 pages of the album. There are flaps, pockets, pull-out tags and 2 waterfalls on the inside covers.
As always, the emphasis is on using the supplies you already have on hand. I made this set using "The Primrose Stack" by Die Cuts With a View, but I've also made it with the Meadow stack by Susan Winget (K&Company) as seen in the 2nd video below. Customize your set with the papers and embellishments you already have on hand.
I used the Sizzix Weathered Clock Die by Tim Holtz to make the clock face, but I also include templates you can download to make your own custom clock face - no need to buy special special dies or equipment. (I made the pretty clock dial on the right with one of the templates and then embellished it. I love how it turned out and I plan to use it on my next clock!)
The tutorial is in PDF format and contains 51 pages of extremely detailed step-by-step instructions with about 220 photos that show how I created the clock and the scrapbook album from start to finish. Measurements are included for each piece you will need to construct the clock and album.
In addition to the written tutorial, I'm including free links to my series of unlisted ONLINE VIDEOS that show how to make the clock and album as I create a brand new set from start to finish. I plan on making these videos available to everyone who purchases my tutorial for as long as the service provide can continue hosting them for free.
Below are videos of two sets I made based on this tutorial. (If you have difficulties viewing the videos, click the links just below.)
