This loaded envelope in a kitchen / cooking / baking theme makes an original and useful housewarming gift. The finished envelope measures 8"w x 11"h including the lace, but it is much higher with the contents inside. There are 2 pockets on the front, one pocket on the back and I attached a ribbon at the top so it can be used as a wall ornament. I used plenty of embellishments on the front and back, and it is filled with goodies:
- a set of measuring spoons attached to the side of the envelope
- tea towel
- recipe book with about 50 index cards
- 2 wood spoons
- notepad
- an embellished paperclip
- pull-out tags for recipes or journaling (one of the tags has a list of equivalent measures).
